Small Mexican food place. Decent service and food. Bathrooms were horrible though we were the only table in the place on a Saturday afternoon.

New ownership, newly renovated interior and new staff. All this adds up to a much improved experience for me. Food was on par with most similar establishments in town. The staff was welcoming.

Pretty good Fajitas and tacos and a good Taco Tuesday weekly special featuring $2 tacos and discounted Fajitas. Very nice servers and bartenders - a good meet up place for families and friends.

Love this place but was really disappointed in the service my last visit maybe it was because it was busy... but ill be taking a break from here for a while. Great place to eat though just don't go when there is a large crowd the employee's arent prepared for it.

I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience! The food is always great and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I would recommend this place to everyone!

7/7/18 Update:After trying to get in the parking lot ( had to go through the ally because some idiot decided to have ladders extend on his truck) I managed to get into the restaurant. Unlike most places they have greeters or someone close to the door to say hello. I had 3 waitresses walk past me near the door and all made eye contact. Not one said hello or be right there. Even the people behind the bar saw me and ducked into the back. I waited 5 minutes for someone to take my to go order. They just ignored me so I left. I don't see any regular staff there so I guess with this new staff they just ignore everyone. Went to El Rey (which is just down the street) and had a great experience.

A great hometown-style Mexican restaurant. Attentive service, no matter the time of day. Reliably tasty seafood dishes (year-round) & a regular menu which will leave the average tex-mex lover coming back for more.

My BF and I want an authentic Mexican dinner and we were completely satisfied with the food and the service. Our hostess (Kimberly) was the best we have ever met. Would definitely go back!

First time back in several years. They've really made the place look nice. The menu changes and what I ordered was good.

Good place for pretty good food and good margaritas! I've only been twice but it's been really good both times, the waiters were nice and the food came out quickly. The margaritas here are bomb. They have a special for monday-thursday where margaritas are $5. The food was pretty much like your average Mexican restaurant. A great place for a weeknight dinner with friends.

Terrible service. Not only did they mess up our DRINKS but our food also. Then when we finally received our food it was cold. Do not recommend.

Good deal on some fat tacos on Tuesdays. $1.00 tacos are hard to beat. Nice staff and decent margaritas.

Cancun's is literally my favorite food spot in Auburn. Their food is always delicious and the drinks are great. The staff is super nice. I've had only positive dining experiences here. Try them out. You'll love it.

I only ever eat here or El Rey's, which I think they're owned by same person since some of the pictures and items are the same thing just labeled different, but service and food is always good. Plus some of the best frozen beverages I've had

I have come to Cancun's more than 50 times over the last 6 years. I almost never have a bad experience and the food is typically quite good and affordable. Highly recommended!

My dining experience here was not great!

Wow the food here left me speechless. Tasted phenomenal and the service was friendly and quick. Small facilities so expect to wait a bit getting a table. Drinks were fuego!

Very good. It's very authentic. If you're looking for Tex/mex or Ameriacanized Mexican food, this may not be for you. Want a bowl of soup like it would be served in Mexico? This should put you on the the right track for expectations.

Didn’t stay here long. I only ordered a margarita. Slow service, but could tell it was a family business. My marg tasted like straight juice and gave me a stomach ache.

Very tasty Mexican food. Dine in is nice in comfortable booths. High back booths that provide privacy. Friendly and attentive wait staff.

The meat was dry and they did not have chorizo. I ordered a simple taco Mexicano
